These pieces are orginal artwork created by Susan Sholle-Martin and may be purchased if not already sold or donated. Susan has recreated objects and places of beauty she has seen in the world.
Her 'Caribbean Irie' series were created from places she visited on the Island of Jamaica, a place she and her family visit for peace of mind. Irie is the Jamaican word for 'every little thing is going to be all right.'
She has also co-created new objects of beauty through guided meditation and visualization. For example, in her 'Transforming Music' series, music and emotions are transformed into visual images that are metaphors for healing and change. While listening to a unique musical piece, an emotion is stirred, then through visualization within her mind's eye, an image is created. The image is transformed into a painting that expresses and captures the essence of the feelings and music.
